Die Stadtkirche Winterthur besteht in ihrer heutigen Gestalt aus einem spätromanischen Chor, an den kurz vor der Reformation ein neues Langhaus angebaut wurde. An ihrer Stelle stand aber bereits im 7./8. Jahrhundert ein Kirchenbau.
